45 Weeks Old

January 12-18

Riley continues to be enthused by remote controls, cell phones, and his pets.

Thursday Riley took a little detour to daycare, because him and Daddy had to come rescue Mommy after a turkey flew into her windshield a few miles outside of Ashby!  Daddy and Riley picked up Mommy and brought her to school.  A few hours after Daddy dropped Riley off for daycare, Amanda called and said we had to pick Riley up because her mother-in-law was sick.  

Since daycare was unavailable again on Friday, Mommy had to take a day off of work to stay home with Riley.  It was actually quite nice and I enjoyed every minute of our day home together. 

Riley is trying new finger food all the time.  He likes his bread pieces and this week we gave him some chicken and turkey pieces as well.  Saturday Mommy, Daddy, and Riley went into Fergus for supper and he tried his first french fry!  

On Sunday Riley stayed with Auntie Jen and Grandma Linda for a few hours while Mommy and Daddy went to St. Cloud to shop for Riley's 1st birthday party!  Mommy and Daddy got all kinds of great things for Riley's Sesame street birthday!  Mommy is beyond excited!
