42 Weeks Old
It was only two days of daycare this week for Riley and then the Christmas fun began!
Wednesday was Christmas Eve at the Wetterlings. Riley wore his red dress shirt with suspenders and a bow tie with his black hat. He was adorable!
He got a tractor set, Scout dog, Ninja Turtle chair, and SEVERAL other fun gifts!

Thursday was Christmas Day at our place with the Mrnak side. We woke up to find that Santa had visited our house for the first time! Riley got a rocking horse, stuffed Koala, and story book!
Christmas afternoon our guests came. We had a big supper and then opened more fun presents for Riley! By this third Christmas, Riley was starting to get the hang of opening packages! He still tried to eat the paper though! Especially special was the gift he got from Great Grandma Baba! For months, Baba had always talked about what she was going to get Riley for his first Christmas. Sadly, she wasn't there to watch him open it, but before she passed away, she had bought Riley his very own train set!
Riley also got a red wagon from Grandpa Dave, a Alphabet train from Mommy and Daddy, blocks, cute outifts, and many other goodies! He is one lucky boy!

Friday Riley stayed home with daddy while mommy went after-Christmas shopping. Around noon we went into Fergus so Daddy could get fitted for his tux for Auntie Missy's wedding. We went out to eat at the Mexican restaurant afterwards.
Saturday we had to go to Great Grandma's apartment to clean it out. Riley was a good boy while everyone worked. We went out to eat at Benigans for lunch. Daddy took Riley home later in the afternoon when he got too tired.
Sunday we went to church.
The holidays are always a special time of year, but they were even more special this year because everyone was able to share the time with Riley!
