29 Weeks Old
September 22-28
We are continuing to expose Riley to new solids! This week he tried apples, peas, and sweet potatoes. He loved the apples and sweet potatoes. The peas....not so much! It was quite comical to watch him try eat them though!

Friday we went to the Knights homecoming football game! Maggie and Madalyn came along with us! The weather was beautiful. We sat on the hill in the grass, since the bleachers were full. Riley was very content and liked watching all the commotion.
Saturday Mommy finally went to the doctor. After two weeks of not feeling well and a solid week of serious coughing, it was time to get some help. The doctor diagnosed me with Bronchituis and gave me two medicines to help the symptoms and clear it up. Saturday afternoon we went to Inspiration Peak with Jen, Kyle, Dick, Linda, and the girls. The leaves weren't at their brightest, but it was still a nice time spent outside. The temperature was around 80 degrees, so it felt more like summer than fall. I took some cute pictures of Riley in the leaves.
Sunday menu: rice w/ apple, Sweet pot, Peas w/ apple
Riley continues to change and grow each day. One of my favorite things is when he is sitting on the floor and you are sitting next to him, he reaches up, grabs you and pulls himself up as if to give you a hug! It is just the sweetest thing! He spends longer times content sitting on the floor playing.
